Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy has had a tumultuous 2025 to say the least. He's missed seven games in his second season, and he currently has more interceptions (12) than touchdown passes (11) in the games he has played.
Many have openly questioned whether or not Minnesota should be in the market for a new signal caller this offseason.
Well, star wide receiver Justin Jefferson shouldn't be counted amongst the voices. Jefferson showed his support for McCarthy by expressing to the media, "of course I would love for him to be here. Of course I would love for him to be the quarterback. Especially off this year. I feel like he needs to show everybody and prove to everybody that he is that top-tier quarterback. So I would love to have him. I would love to work with him and show everybody that he is that No. 1 guy."
