The Minnesota Vikings have a new quarterback in the room in Kyler Murray. While the move isn’t surprising, one must question whether J.J. McCarthy is being fairly treated. It appears that the Vikings are likely to start Murray at quarterback, leaving McCarthy expendable. 

McCarthy has not been particularly good so far in his young NFL career. However, the biggest issue with the former first-round pick has been his lack of availability because of injury. There is always the possibility that with a little bit of injury luck, J.J. McCarthy could become a much better player.
