Can the Vikings thrive without the JJ McCarthy drama?

The JJ McCarthy era in Minnesota is over, and hopefully the drama surrounding the situation is also. After trading him to the Giants, the Vikings can hopefully breathe a sigh of relief. 

Coming into the season much of the talk was regarding the quarterback battle. The Vikings front office signaled that it was time to move on from the former first round pick when they brought in Kyler Murray. Thus far this season that conversation still was a distraction. 

With McCarthy off to New York for a fresh start, hopefully the Vikings can turn the page themselves.
