JJ McCarthy has not gotten off to the greatest of starts this season, but with the Vikings now looking at a potential start for Max Brosner, fans should be careful what they wish for. Brosner, a rookie undrafted free agent, is the definition of unproven. The latest injury to McCarthy is added salt to the wounds of Vikings’ fans in a disappointing season. 

The Minnesota Vikings’ front office made the decision this past offseason to invest in their first round quarterback when they let Sam Darnold leave. Rather than waver on their support for McCarthy, the front office, coaching staff, players and fans must all stand behind the second year player in hopes that he can turn things around.
