JJ McCarthy had by far his best game on Sunday, throwing for the touchdown passes without committing a single turnover, something that has plagued the young quarterback. Granted, the Washington Commanders have not been very good this season, but being able to see McCarthy gain some confidence is a welcome sign for a team desperate to see progress. 

Next for McCarthy and the Vikings is a primetime matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. The bright lights of AT&T Stadium will give JJ McCarthy an opportunity to demonstrate that what fans saw on Sunday was not a fluke. The Cowboys will be hungry as they are still battling for a spot in the playoffs. The Vikings will need to rely on their quarterback to keep pace with the high octane Dallas Cowboys.
