On Monday, the Minnesota Vikings announced that they waived veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen with the intention that the Minnesota legend would have the opportunity to spend his final season in a winning environment. It was reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that he was claimed by the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

In a season many Vikings fans would like to forget, it should give them excitement that the organization would help out someone that gave so much to the franchise throughout the years. Despite the changing of teams, Adam Thielen said himself in his press release that he “will ALWAYS be a Minnesota Viking.”
