The Minnesota Vikings' 2026 schedule has been officially released via the team's website.

They are scheduled to include nine home games and eight road games. This is due to the NFL's rotational formula that was developed when the schedule expanded to 17 games five seasons ago.

According to vikings.com,

"An NFL rotational formula that was developed when the league expanded to 17 games will be implemented for the fifth season.

Under the formula, NFC teams play nine home games and eight road games in seasons that end with even numbers."

Now, for the actual schedule:

Vikings Home Opponents: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers of the NFC North; Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers of the NFC South; Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins of the AFC East; the NFC East and AFC South teams that finish in the same place in their division as the Vikings finish in the NFC North

Vikings Road Opponents: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers of the NFC North; New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFC South; New England Patriots and New York Jets of the AFC East; the NFC West team that finishes in the same place in its division as the Vikings finish in the NFC North
