The Minnesota Vikings head into AT&T Stadium for the latest installment of Sunday Night Football against a Dallas Cowboys team that's still potentially feeling the effects of last week's 44-30 blowout loss to the Detroit Lions.

Minnesota was on a four-game losing streak before last Sunday. They proceeded to break it against the Washington Commanders, defeating them by a 31-0 margin.

Against the Cowboys, the Vikings are looking for their sixth win on the year, while Dallas is striving to remain relevant in the NFC playoff conversation.

Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy led the team to victory last weekend against Washington, by going 16/23 for 163 yards and three touchdowns (was sacked four times).

While those numbers aren't eye-popping, they certainly provided some kind of balance to an offensive attack that also saw running back Aaron Jones carry the rock 14 times for 76 yards at 5.4 yards per carry.

Against a Cowboys defense that's allowed opponents to score 20+ points in five of their last six games, one could see a scenario where the Vikings could maybe squeak out a gutsy win to the tune of 24-21.
