Vikings fans may be upset that the front office let Sam Darnold walk away last offseason. They will be forced to watch him represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. However, seeing Darnold succeed should give fans hope for J.J. McCarthy. 

Darnold is demonstrating that it can take a quarterback time in order to get over the hump. Many teams had given up on Sam Darnold after a disappointing start to his NFL career. But now Darnold is showing the world that the wait was worth it. Could that be McCarthy one day?
