In an appearance on "NFL Live" last Friday, analyst Jeremy Fowler said the following regarding quarterbacks who would like to play for the Minnesota Vikings, "
"My sense right now, from asking around," Fowler said, "is all the top quarterbacks that will be, or could be, available, Kyler Murray, Geno Smith, this is the place they want to go. It is Minnesota."
It would be a jarring turn of events for second year quarterback J.J. McCarthy, but not all that surprising considering how painful the 2025 season was for the purple and white.
After watching former signal caller Sam Darnold win his first Super Bowl championship right after leaving the team, one can understand the sense of urgency the Vikings may have in trying to acquire new talent to reach that same peak sooner rather than later.
