Brian Flores gets more reinforcements on the back end and on the defensive line.

The Minnesota Vikings have many options for their draft process. The team could address the receiver position with their first round pick or use it on a premium defensive player. Either way, Minnesota needs an impact player with its first pick.

Gordon McGuinness of PFF has released his three-round mock draft, with the Vikings selecting Clemson cornerback Avionne Terrell.

"Terrell secured PFF overall grades above 80.0 in each of the past two seasons, playing almost 1,500 defensive snaps in that span. In addition to his coverage skills, he is a willing run defender who earned an 85.2 PFF run-defense grade in 2025."

With the 49th pick, the Vikings select EDGE from Illinois, Gabe Jacas.

Matt Holder of Bleacher Report comps Jacas to Vikings EDGE Jonathan Greenard.

Where He Wins

- Jacas has good size and carries his frame well with little to no bad weight.

- Impressive pass-rush production with 27 career sacks in 50 games (as of Dec. 4).

- Has the combination of strength and change of direction skills to be very effective when turning speed to power as a pass-rusher.

- Good quickness for his size to beat offensive tackles across their faces and take advantage of oversets or use as a counter move to his ability to turn speed to power.

- Recognizes when he's even with the quarterback and has a solid inside spin move to avoid rushing too far up the field and get pressure.

- Good pass-rush motor, allowing him to get coverage sacks.

- Solid at running his feet to avoid getting reached in the run game.

- Can create stalemates against pullers as the force player in run fits.

The Vikings land a Notre Dame running back in the third round. No, not Jeremiyah Love, but Jadarian Price.

Damian Parson of Bleacher Report believes Price resembles Sony Michel.

Where He Wins

- Natural, instinctive and patient runner with elite-level vision to navigate the box to exploit unoccupied lanes.

-Scheme-versatile runner who can execute both zone and gap concepts. Patience is on display when following lead blockers into daylight on pin-pull actions.

- Great feel for space at the line of scrimmage. Sets up second-level defenders and opens up cutbacks.

- Quick-footed runner at the line of scrimmage. Lateral agility and cuts to exchange gaps based on the defensive run-fills.

- A threat to house kick returns on special teams. Averaged over 35 yards per return and hit paydirt three times on 22 returns throughout his collegiate career.
