Despite an anemic offense, the undefeated Vikings face Miami eyeing a massive breakout. Experts predict Kyler Murray and Jordan Addison will torch the Dolphins' league-worst passing defense.

The Minnesota Vikings are on fire heading into Week 4. The Vikings start the year 3-0 and in search of a fourth straight win to start the season.

Wins haven't come easy. In fact, the offense has lagged behind the defense to start the season. Minnesota ranks dead-last in the National Football League in total offense with 238 yards per game. That number could spike on Sunday.

Sportsnaut's Andrew Buller-Russ made bold predictions for the Vikings' upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins. Buller-Russ predicted that Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray would go for 280 yards through the air and 80 of those yards plus two touchdowns would go to star receiver Jordan Addison.

Here's what Buller-Russ had to say about Murray and Addison having a potential breakout performance against the Dolphins.

"One start and 11 snaps into his Vikings career, Kyler Murray has been underwhelming in Kevin O'Connell's offense. He's completed a concerningly low 52.9% of his passes. Yet, last week he lost top receiver Justin Jefferson after just one quarter due to an ankle injury. Now with a bit more time on task while taking on a defense allowing an NFL-worst 9.2 yards per passing attempt, Murray could have a breakout performance in Minnesota. This week Vikings fans will see Murray be much more accurate with his passing attempts while making plays with his feet against a defense that hasn't established an identity and is relying on a rookie to relay signals on the field. At the end of the day, Murray's 280-yard game, plus a convincing win will ease the concerns emanating from the Vikings' fanbase.

One player who got a lot of extra work working with Murray this offseason is Jordan Addison. The two got together on multiple occasions for private workouts. Perhaps that's why Addison finally had a productive game last week, with a season-high 90 yards and a touchdown. He'll repeat that performance this week, except end up with two touchdowns this time."

Needless to say, Murray's return to the lineup should help the Vikings. Minnesota went from winning a 9-3 rock fight with the Chicago Bears to scoring 23 points against the Buccaneers. Still, the Vikings could only muster up 4.2 yards per play and 230 total yards against Tampa Bay.

The real question is, if the Vikings can stay perfect in the win column with the worst offense in the NFL, how much better will they do when they hit their stride?

Minnesota will hope to start toward its ceiling this weekend against the Dolphins.
