Despite a sluggish start for the league's lowest-ranked offense, insiders predict Kyler Murray will finally ignite against Miami to silence critics and secure a dominant 4-0 start.

The Minnesota Vikings approach another underrated matchup this weekend after defeating the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get to a 3-0 record. They now take on the three-loss Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins have been underwhelming to this point, but the Vikings cannot get complacent. Minnesota has been the statistically worst offense in the NFL. That's after making what seemed to be significant improvements on offense.

Despite the offense's slow start, Minnesota is seeing buzz to break through with a big performance this weekend. One analyst seems to believe it could all come together against Miami.

Jason Harmon of Minnesota Vikings on SI made a few predictions on how the game with the Miami Dolphins could go. Harmon opined that the Vikings offense and Kyler Murray should have an explosive performance this weekend. Here's what he had to say about the Vikings' matchup with the Dolphins.

"I won’t dodge the obvious: the Vikings offense has been wildly disappointing through three weeks of football. Kyler Murray’s week one concussion, poor Chicago weather and Justin Jefferson’s ankle injury in Tampa certainly do help a unit trying to find its identity.

The good news is that the lowest-ranked offense in yards per game has nowhere to go but up, and Miami may be the perfect opponent.

The Vikings, by contrast, lead the league with 14. This may be the perfect matchup for the already-shifty Murray, letting him stand confidently in the pocket while his receivers work to find space.

I predict Murray will have the best game of his short tenure with the Vikings. Mark me down for 250 passing yards and two touchdowns. While Jefferson’s status for Sunday is unknown, his absence from Wednesday’s practice means fellow wideouts Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings need to be prepared to step up in his place if the passing game is to succeed."

Last season, we were critical of now former Minnesota quarterback J.J. McCarthy for consistently passing in the 160-yard range. If we did that with McCarthy we have to do it with Murray, who threw from under 170 yards in his first full game with the team.

The Vikings took a moderate risk in adding Murray, though they managed to add him at a discount. Now, it's time for Murray to prove worthy of the move. He will look to do so with a win over the winless Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
