Breakaway Ropers Are Relentless at Texas Circuit Finals cover image

The breakaway roping competition is fierce inside the Heart O'Texas Coliseum as the Texas Circuit Finals wraps up Friday night.

The Texas Circuit Finals began in Waco Tuesday night featuring the ladies in the fastest event in rodeo-breakaway roping.

The breakaway ropers have put on a thrilling show for rodeo fans in Waco this week. Some of the best cowgirls in the world are sharpening their skills getting ready for the National Finals Breakaway Roping in Vegas. 

Cowgirls Jackie Crawford, Martha Angelone, and Hali Williams have gone head to head battling for a qualifying position in the NFR Open next July. Not only is it a chance to win big money counting towards the world standings, it's also a qualifier for the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, Wash.
