There are few rodeos as prestigious as the Cheyenne Frontier Days. In 2025, a new set of champions were crowned in Frontier Park.

Bareback Riding 

A massive tie at 88 points topped Round 1. Myles Carlson on Smith Pro Rodeos' Broadway Boots, Tucker Carricato on Brookman Rodeo's Lonely Smile, Richmond Champion on Brookman Rodeo's 3 Ten To Yuma, Clay Jorgenson on Smith Pro Rodeos' Neurotic Toddy, R.C. Landingham on Summit Pro Rodeo's Hillbilly, Orin Larsen on United Pro Rodeo's Marie Leveau, Jayco Roper on Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics' Sozo, and Kade Sonnier on Brookman Rodeo's Sos split the top spot for $2,730 each.

Wacey Schalla rode Penthouse Pro Rodeo's Brazos and Rocker Steiner rode Dakota Rodeo's Native Lights to 90-point rides and the win in the semi-finals. They each earned $3,528. 

The sudden-death finals and $9,373 went to Kade Berry riding Brookman Rodeo's Lunatic Heaven for their 93.5-point showing. 

Steer Wrestling 

Joe Nelson’s 6.1 topped the first round for $4,766. 

In the Shootout, Mason Couch, Cody Devers, Kyler Dick, Trisyn Kalawaia, Tyke Kipp, Garrett Oates, and Wynn Schaack all finished at 8.5 seconds to split the win for $2,000 each. 

Cody Devers and Dalton Walker’s 5.8-second runs split the top spot in the Wildcard for $3,581. 

In the Semi-Finals, Garrett Oates and Justin Shaffer finished with 6.0-second runs and earned $4,060 each.

After a solid week and banking just over $17,000 total, Tyke Kipp won the Finals for $9,200 with a time of 5.5 seconds. 

Team Roping

Bubba Buckaloo and Joseph Harrison won Round 1 for $4,872 with their 6.6-second run. 

In the Shootout, a tie between Jake Clay and Tanner Braden, Jeff Flenniken and Buddy Hawkins II, Wyatt Murray and Rhett Nebeker, Kyle Polich and T.J. Watts, David Temple and Dillon Bahem, Blaine Turner and Ethan Cory and Nelson Wyatt and Jonathan Torres at 9.6 seconds earned each cowboy $1,750. 

James Arviso and Logan Moore and Jack Fischer and Andy Carlson made matching 7.1-second runs to earn $3,057 each in the Wildcard. 

The Semi-Finals win was another tie, between Ryon Joe Boatright and Jett Hillman, Billy Bob Brown and Blaine Vick, and Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp at 10.6 seconds for $4,750 each.

Winning the first CFD of his career, Aaron Tsinigine and Jermey Buhler finished with a 9.3-second run to take the $11,500 win. 

Saddle Bronc Riding

Zeke Thurston made an outstanding 90.5-point ride aboard Dakota Rodeo's Cover Girl for $2,354 in Round 1. He split the win in the Semi-Finals with Brody Cress at 89.5 points, each earring $3,043. In the Finals, Cress could not be stopped. Riding Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics' The Black Tie for 91 points, he claimed $11,331 for the win. 

Tie-Down Roping

Riley Pruitt won Round 1 with a 9.6-second run, banking $5,303. 

Another massive tie between Cole Clemons, John Douch, Shad Mayfield, Denton Oestmann, Jake Pratt, and Kyan Wilhite at 12.0 seconds banked the cowboys $2,000 each in the Shootout. 

Blane Cox topped the Wildcard at 10.1 seconds for $3,535. 

Splitting the Semi-Finals, Tyson Durfey and Riley Pruitt each made 9.4-second runs for $5,200 each. In the Finals, Durfey’s 10.9 banked him another $11,500. 

Barrel Racing

Hailey Kinsel’s 17.18 topped Round 1 for $7,834. In the Shootout, Taylor Baize, Emily Beisel, Summer Kosel, Bristan McCarley, Alyssa Urbanek-Wade and Kimmie Wall, all made matching 17.44-second runs, earning $2,487 each. The Semi-Finals win was split between Michelle Alley and Emily Beisel at 17.09, each earning $5,409. Lisa Lockhart could not be beat in the Finals, with a 17.03 earning $10,819. 

Breakaway Roping

Rylie Smith won Round 1 with a 4.4-second run, Brooke Ladner won Round 2 at 4.7 seconds, Rylee George won Round 3 with a 4.3-second run, Hannah Giger topped Round 4 at 4.6 seconds, Sidney Peters finished at 3.6 seconds to win Round 5, and Bailey Bates won Round 6 with a 5.0-second run. 

Jordan Hollabaugh won the first semi-final at 4.8 seconds and Jordi Edens-Mitchell made a 4.9-second run to win the second semi-final. 

Katie Jolly and Haiden Thompson split the qualifier at 4.2 seconds and Tia Wallace won the Wildcard with a 3.2-second run. Danielle Lowman’s 4.3 topped the field in the Finals for $13,021. 

Bull Riding

Thayne Elshere on Dakota Rodeo's Macho Man, Mason Spain on Harper & Morgan Rodeo Co's Can't Get Right, and Hayes Weight on Dakota Rodeo's Time Bomb split the top spot in the first round at 90.5 points.

Tristen Hutchings on Korkow Rodeos' Nap Time, Luke Mast on Dakota Rodeo's Born To Sin, Tristan Mize on Dakota Rodeo's Maximus, and Cimarron Rucker on Dakota Rodeo's Whatever all tied with 90 points to split the win in the second round for $2,397 each.

Gavin Mitchell on Dakota Rodeo's The Judge and Hayden Welsh on Korkow Rodeos' Salinas made matching 88.5-point rides to split the semi-finals win for $3,098 each.

Qynn Andersen’s 90-point ride on Smith Pro Rodeos' Hunter earned him $12,242 for the finals win.
