As we continue to recap some of the action over Cowboy Christmas, North Dakota and Utah both held some of the best rodeos in the country over the Fourth of July.

In Mandan, N.D., Jayco Roper topped the bareback riding with a huge ride for 89.5 points aboard Smith Pro Rodeos' North Star, earning $7,226. 

Tie-down roper Ty Harris continued his roll in 2025, winning $5,675 for his 7.7-second run. 

Wyatt Casper’s 88.5-point ride aboard Dakota Rodeo's Smarty Pants earned him $7,163.

Summer Kosel and her National Finals Rodeo (NFR) mount, FireWaterFrenchFame broke the arena record in the barrel racing at 16.91 seconds to earn the $8,419 victory. 

Another great North Dakota Rodeo, the Killdeer Mountain Roundup saw top performances from some of rodeo’s finest. 

Cooper Cooke rode Pickett Pro Rodeo Co's Boot Barn's Night Delta for 91.5 points and the $7,367 win. 

Tie-down roper Cory Solomon finished on top for $4,474 with his 7.4-second run. 

NFR tie-down roper Dylan Hancock won the All-Around title.

Making the only qualified ride of the rodeo, Payton Fitzpatrick earned $15,560 for his 81-point ride on Pickett Pro Rodeo Co's What You Say. 

In his home state of Utah, Stetson Wright took another All-Around title at the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo. 

Dirk Tavenner topped the steer wrestling by over one-half second at 3.3 seconds to earn $5,154. 

World Champions Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp won the team roping at 4.9 seconds for $6,975 each.

Zeke Thurston earned $8,404 with his 92-point ride aboard Pete Carr Pro Rodeo's Larry Culpepper. 

The Harris brothers went 1-2 in the tie-down roping, with Joel taking the win for $6,416 and Ty finishing second for $5,560. 

Tricia Aldridge and her incredible stallion, Adios Pantalones continue their record-breaking career together. Taking the $8,451 victory with the only sub-17-second run of the rodeo, they clocked a 16.98 to win the rodeo by over two-tenths of a second. 

Cooper Cooke took another win in West Jordan, Utah, claiming the bareback riding title and $5,147. 

Kimmie Wall topped the barrel racing for 17.17 seconds for a $3,106 victory.
