Pasadena brings nine days of PRCA action, top rodeo talent and a new direct path to RODEOHOUSTON.

For 77 years, the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo has brought cowboys, livestock, entertainment and the spirit of rodeo together in Pasadena, Texas. This September, the tradition returns with something new on the line.

The Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo runs September 18-26, bringing nine straight days of PRCA rodeo action to the arena. The rodeo features a field ranging from NFR bullfighters to NFR-qualifying cowboys, continuing the long-running event locals know as “Pasa-Get-Down-Dena.”

But the 2026 edition comes with an added opportunity for competitors: Pasadena has been announced as a new RODEOHOUSTON qualifier, with champions earning a direct invitation into RODEOHOUSTON.

The addition puts another prize beyond a Pasadena championship and creates a direct connection between the 77-year-old event and one of rodeo’s biggest stages. RODEOHOUSTON itself is an official PRCA NFR money event, meaning money earned there counts toward the PRCA World Standings and qualification for the National Finals Rodeo.
