Tractor Supply Co.’s “For Life Out Here” motto represents its focus on supporting rural life. Whether it's livestock feed or work boots, this retail giant serves communities around the nation with a wide array of agricultural supplies.
While they’ve long been involved with the rodeo community through sponsorships and stocking apparel such as Ariat and Wrangler gear, and carrying horse tack and ropes, they’ve recently committed to the rodeo world on a much deeper level through internal programs for employees.
Known as the Red Rider Program, this opportunity was enacted last year as a way to identify and support Tractor Supply Co. employees who are competing in a rodeo event. This program has built community among team members who share this passion and has provided even greater connections between the local rodeos that Tractor Supply Co. has long sponsored and their own personnel who participate in them.
As they continue to cater to the rodeo world, Tractor Supply’s website also now sports a “Rodeo” dedicated tab and page, sorting items specific to the rodeo life for customer ease of shopping.
In the past several years, they have begun supporting bigger rodeos, such as partnering with champion bull and bareback rider Cord McCoy of McCoy Rodeo to produce several large Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeos. In 2025, they signed as an official partner of the PRCA. They also collaborated with the Cowboy Channel and Teton Ridge to present the Rodeo Live stage at rodeos across the country.
Now, they are making their dedication even more public through a huge commitment: serving as the presenting sponsor for the Nationals Finals Rodeo.
In 2026, the National Finals Rodeo logo will have three names on it: Wrangler, Tractor Supply Co, and the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). The title will become “The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo presented by Tractor Supply Company”.
Hillary Maybery PhotographyThis rodeo is often referred to as the “Super Bowl of Rodeo” for its huge payout, prestigious titles, and top talent in both stock and competitors. Held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the beginning of December, the 2026 NFR will be hosted December 3-12 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The NFR has been in Vegas since 1985 and was previously held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It draws huge crowds to watch the rounds of competition and shop the Cowboy Christmas vendor booths. Each round consists of bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, bull riding, and barrel racing. You can read round recaps from last year's NFR by Madison Richmann here.
Tractor Supply Co. leadership has promised that this NFR sponsorship will offer a greater connection for rodeo fans as well. They plan to have pro rodeo competitors make appearances at various store locations for scheduled sessions. During the NFR, they will provide media coverage and on-site activities to further engage fans and connect them to the rodeo itself.
This is a bold and encouraging move from Tractor Supply Co. and one that will likely garner additional loyalty from all who love rodeo and embrace the meaning of “life out here.”
