FOX Nation has signed its first deal to carry live sports, becoming the exclusive Friday night broadcast partner for the PBR Teams league.
Beginning on Friday, August 8, “PBR Friday Night Live” will begin in Sunrise, FL – the third event of the 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series season. Each week, FOX Nation’s exclusive Friday night broadcasts will feature five bull riding games from cities across the country, culminating with the league's championship opener on October 24 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The deal complements 11 hours of PBR Teams action that will air on CBS Television network in the PBR Teams upcoming season, which begins July 11 in Oklahoma City.

In the lead up to its live weekly team events, Fox Nation will roll out season two of the reality competition series “Last Cowboy Standing” beginning on Friday, July 11.
In the 10 weekly episodes, eight amateur bull riders will compete in a series of rides and one-of-a-kind challenges for shot at the big time -- PBR's premier individual Unleash the Beast tour, and the opportunity to join a PBR team.
During the first season of "Last Cowboy Standing," Daniel Keeping proved to be tough as a T-Bone steak at the Waffle House. That grit was on display to Cody Lambert, and the Texas Rattlers Coach grabbed Keeping, who would would knock down the final 8-second ride to defeat the Austin Gamblers and bring the Rattlers the 2023 PBR Teams Championship.“We could not ask for a better partner to kick off our first foray into live sports,” said FOX Nation president Lauren Petterson. “PBR is an incredibly unique sport with an unrivaled, passionate fan base, and it’s a great addition to the entire FOX Nation viewer experience.”
FOX Nation got their first taste of live Western sports action in May, carrying Kid Rock's Rock N Rodeo from AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The modernized team rodeo mashed into a full Kid Rock concert is said to have done more to drive subscriptions than anything else on the platform.
“Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo was a breakout hit in May for FOX Nation, proving that their devoted audience is eager for exciting Western sports content," said PBR CEO and Commissioner Sean Gleason. "The FOX platform is a perfect stage to showcase our athletes’ stories of grit, courage, and determination."
Gleason and PBR Chief Revenue Officer Josh Baker then presented to FOX the concept of PBR Teams - five-on-five games that bring fans wins and losses, coaches decisions, a draft, roster changes, walk off wins, and local rooting interests...everything sports fans easily understand and love at a very reasonable price. FOX Nation plans start at $4.99/month. Members of the US Military, Veterans and First Responders can enjoy the first year free.

FOX has increasingly leaned into covering “America’s Original Extreme Sport," which welcomed a record 1.43 million fans to its events last year.
In May, Steve Doocy was on site for Fox & Friends at AT&T Stadium to cover Kid Rock’s rodeo and the 2025 PBR World Finals. Abby Hornacek climbed onto a bull in Fort Worth. When at Fox & Friends, Pete Hegseth got off the couch to ride a mechanical bull on the 6th Avenue Plaza in Manhattan. And Dana Perino put on her cowboy hat and boots to cover PBR from a sold-out Madison Square Garden.

The smart money would have Perino, widely regarded as one of the top all-time White House press secretaries in serving President George W. Bush, as the lead color commentator should PBR buck bulls on the White House lawn some day.
