After a close three days of competition, the PBR Teams Standings have changed significantly. The previous leaders, the Texas Rattlers, were knocked out of their lead spot by the Nashville Stampede, who soared in the standings after a great weekend of competition.

As PBR Teams preps for their third regular season event, the Teams standings are ever-changing. Despite the reign that the Texas Rattlers have seemed to hold throughout the competitions, they are no longer the top team in the circuit. Because it is still so early in the season, one team’s win can cause a drastic change to the leaderboards. That is precisely what happened during the Wildcatter Days.

The previously leading team, the Texas rattlers, now hold second after getting their first game loss at Wildcatter days against the Carolina Cowboys. Not only was this the first game loss of the season for this team, but it was also one of the first games of the season to lack any qualified rides from one of the competing teams. Despite this bump in the road of the Rattlers’ 2026 season, they came back strong to finish the event, leaving them only second with no games behind. This means that they hold a good chance at re-claiming their lead at the upcoming Freedom Days.

However, with their incredibly successful run at Wildcatter Days, the Carolina Cowboys, the only team in the league to best the Texas Rattlers in the 2026 season, the Cowboys jumped from No. 9 to No. 5 overall. This puts them in a great position moving into the Freedom Days to continue climbing. Carolina hopes to make it into the top 3 teams to get a bye for the PBR Teams Championship in Las Vegas, bringing them past the elimination round and straight into Day 2 of the competition. Overall, it was a great weekend for the Carolina Cowboys, a winning streak they hope to continue in the next regular season event.

As the only team to win all three of their events, the Nashville Stampede now holds the No. 1 spot in the PBR Teams Standings. Following the first season event, Bulls and Beats, Nashville stood 7th out of the 10 teams, making their jump to the lead more like a bounding leap. They do, however, remain tied in wins-losses with the previously reigning Texas rattlers, so the competition will not be an easy pass for them. With yet another Teams event this coming weekend, they are sure to come into the arena carrying both the confidence from their wins at Wildcatter Days and ready to fight to keep the lead they took.
