The barrel racers sped across Pendleton for the finals and we saw a return champion crowned yet again!

At the conclusion of the Pendleton round up we saw many sub-30 second runs from the barrel racers in the fianle. There was only one hit barrel the entire finals. These cowgirls were milli-seconds apart and weren't slowing down anytime soon.

The results from the final round were:

  2. Lisa Lockhart - 28.34
  3. Cheyenne Allan - 28.7
  4. Pamela Capper-Coker - 28.85
  5. Sophie Nolen - 28.92
  6. Lindsey Ham - 29.1
  7. Paige Jones - 29.21
  8. Shane Fallon - 29.29
  9. Karen Gleason - 29.58
  10. Rachelle Riggers - 30.56
  11. Kacey Gartner - 33.82

Stevi Hillman and the red mare, Sand In My Sox (BHR Frenchie Socks x Jc Pick Six), had the fastest run of the entire rodeo with a 28.23. Hillman not only won the final round but the over all average with a 56.9 seconds. She is a return champion to the  Pendleton Round-up. She won this prestigious title back in 2016.

Hillman is one of the cowgirls teetering on the bubble on if she will qualify for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. She took home a total of $11,374 between her two runs and the average. She is sitting right at 15th in the world and only the top 15 will go on to the NFR this December.

With only a few weeks left of rodeo competition we will see these girls continue to run for checks and secure their spot in the world standings. The race to Las Vegas is not over yet.
