It was a stacked lineup in Nampa, and athletes across all disciplines made it a weekend to remember.

Each year, the Snake River Stampede in Nampa, Idaho, serves as one of the premier stops of the summer rodeo run, drawing some of the sport's biggest names and offering competitors a chance to make major moves in the world standings.

Fresh off wins at the Dutton Ranch Darby Xtreme Bareback and the Eagle Rodeo, Cooper Cooke carried that momentum into Nampa. After tying for second in the first round with an 86-point ride, he kept consistent in the finals, turning in an 86.5 to secure the average title. This win adds a significant $10,851 to his season earnings and further strengthens his position inside the Top 10 of the world standings.

In steer wrestling, Seth Peterson set the tone early with a blazing 3.3-second run in the first round. While his 4.5 in round two wasn’t quick enough to get a check, he came back strong in the finals with a 4.3-second run to finish third in the round and lock up the average with 12.1 seconds on three head. Peterson earned more than $12,000 over the weekend, marking a crucial victory as he continues his push toward his first NFR qualification.

No. 1-ranked team Korbin Rice and Cooper Freeman continued to prove why they sit atop the team roping world standings, winning both the first round and finals before tying for the average title with Lightning Aguilera and Kaden Profili. Their $11,074 payday will help continue to widen the world standings gap between themselves and No. 2- ranked Jake Smith and Douglas Rich.

Sage Newman and Ryder Wright shared the saddle bronc riding victory after both turning in 176.5 points on two head. Newman delivered an 89-point ride on Cervi Championship Rodeo's Mugshot in round one, while Wright was just behind with an 87.5. In the finals, it was Wright who topped the round with his own 89-point ride on Cervi Championship Rodeo's R. Watson's Ed Bishop, while Newman finished fourth with his 87.5.

In tie-down roping, Jake Pratt's consistency proved unbeatable. After placing in every round, including a tie for second in Round 2 and a tie for second in the finals, Pratt captured the average title with a three-head time of 24.9 seconds.

After a dominant win at Reno Xtreme Bulls, TJ Gray continued to make every second count in Nampa. As the only cowboy to cover both bulls, he took home the average title and $11,317, helping boost him inside the Top 15 in the world standings.

The women of rodeo did not disappoint either! Barrel racer Abby Phillips placed in all three rounds, securing the top spot in the average for the weekend with 47.17 seconds on three. Another notable finish was 2026 American Rodeo champion Hayle Gibson-Stillwell, who was close behind with 47.29 in the average. Breakaway roping was equally as exciting with Jordan Jo Hollabaugh’s 7.7 seconds on three head holding up for the average win. Before the weekend, Hollabaugh sat just outside the Top 15, but her $7,743 should help her move up significantly in the world standings.
