Eight event champions collected checks in Hamilton, Texas, as UPRA contestants continued their season-long push toward the Finals.

The road through the United Professional Rodeo Association season continued in Hamilton, Texas, where contestants battled for valuable earnings across eight events as the push toward the UPRA Finals continues.

Bull rider Fabio Eleuterio walked away with the largest individual check of the rodeo, earning $2,869.10 for his performance. With every dollar becoming increasingly important as contestants work to strengthen their positions, the Hamilton payday provided Eleuterio another opportunity to build momentum.

The women’s events also produced significant payouts. Payton Johnson topped the breakaway roping and collected $2,038.91, while Cenibei Keeley claimed the barrel racing title and $1,775.96.

In calf roping, Richard Newton earned the victory and a $1,833.38 payday. Team ropers Jake Orman and Dustin Davisalso made Hamilton count, with each man taking home $1,807.39.

The roughstock side of the rodeo saw victories spread across several events. Jaxson Thurmon captured the bareback riding title and earned $987.30, while Cole Futrell came out on top in saddle bronc riding for $886.66. Jimmie Zeschadded his name to the Hamilton winners list in ranch broncs, earning $423.30.

Hamilton's results represent more than another collection of rodeo champions. As the UPRA season moves forward, each rodeo offers contestants another chance to add money to their season earnings and establish themselves among the competitors to watch as the Finals draw closer.

That makes consistency increasingly important. A contestant does not necessarily have to dominate every stop along the way, but cashing checks throughout the season can make the difference when the standings tighten. For those who left Hamilton with a win, the rodeo provided both a paycheck and another successful performance to carry into their next competition.

The UPRA circuit continues to provide opportunities for competitors across multiple disciplines, bringing together timed-event specialists and roughstock athletes at rodeos throughout the region. Hamilton was another stop where those opportunities translated into meaningful earnings.

With eight event champions leaving town with checks, the Hamilton rodeo added another chapter to the season-long race. For Johnson, Newton, Futrell, Zesch, Orman, Davis, Keeley, Eleuterio, and Thurmon, the trip to Hamilton ended on the winning side of the pay window.

Beyond the individual victories, Hamilton Texas reflected the depth of competition found throughout the UPRA season. From the timed events to the roughstock end of the arena, contestants continue to face fields where a single run or ride can determine who leaves with a check.

As the road continues, each remaining rodeo offers another chance to climb, defend a position or change the direction of a season before the UPRA Finals in Bryan, Texas.
