The final night of the 2025 NFR delivered one last opportunity for the cowboys and cowgirls to claim a round win and close the season strong.

Round 10 may not come with the typical go round buckle presentation for its winners, but the stakes remain unchanged. Each go-round stands alone with its $40,000 payday.

Not only does Round 10 decide World and Average Champions, but it also gives one final chance to cowboys and cowgirls who may not have had the finals they had hoped for. The stakes are high nonetheless; one last chance to execute, one last check to earn, and one last performance to carry forward before the season officially comes to an end.

The bareback riding delivered the highest score of the entire finals as Kade Sonnier spurred to the top of the leaderboard with a 90.75-point ride on the Horse of the Year Lunatic Heaven. This helped Sonnier to take 3rd in the average and fourth in the world.

Steer Wrestler Stetson Jorgensen stopped the clock at 3.4 seconds to claim the round 10 win. This tied with the fastest time we saw all week in round five by Scott Guenthner. Jorgenson ended his year fourth in the average and fifth in the world standings.

The team roping came down to a one header. Andrew Ward and Jake Long shared the go-round win with Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira. The teams came out as 1st and 2nd in the world standings, respectively. Those matching 3.9-second runs were the end of a grueling ten days of team roping.

Round 10 in the saddle bronc riding ended with a tie at the top. Brothers, Stetson Wright and Ryder Wright each scored 89.75 points, sharing the go-round win. Stetson rode J Bar J's Shady Jacket, and Ryder aboard Calgary Stampede's Dandy Delight. Their younger brother, Statler came out as the world champion after also placing in the final round. The saddle bronc was a race til the end.

After a tough week for the San Angelo, Texas cowboy, Ty Harris posted a 6.8 second run in the tie-down roping to secure the Round 10 win. The time tied as fastest of the finals and capped a competitive round and total ten days in the calf roping.

In the barrelrace, Carlee Otero and Regina closed the finals the same way they spent much of the week, at the top of the leaderboard. Otero won Round 10 to add to a dominant NFR performance that included four go round wins and the fastest two times of the finals. She was a 13.20 in round nine and a 13.28 in round ten. Carlee finished her year 4th in the world.

The TV pen in the bull riding always brings high scores and exciting rides. TJ Gray needed an eight-second ride to secure his first average title. Gray did so, winning the round with 88.5 points on Rosser Rodeo's Mr. Priefert. He walked away from his second NFR as the average champion and proving himself among the best.
