The California cowgirl has been on a roll in 2026 as she takes home another win in Nevada.
The momentum of the summer rodeo run is continuing to build, and events like Fallon Rodeo are helping competitors get one step closer to a 2026 NFR qualification. This is the stretch of the season where every dollar counts, and competitors across all disciplines are focused as much on consistency as they are on wins, trying to stay in the mix as the standings tighten up.
The standout performance of the weekend came from breakaway roper Rylee George, who stopped the clock in 2.1 seconds to secure the win and $2,989 in earnings. George finished 4th in the world in 2025 and currently sits third in the 2026 world standings, already amassing $61,146.01 across 17 rodeos this season. Cadee Williams finished just a tenth back at 2.2 seconds, with Bailey Bates close behind at 2.3 for third place.
In the roughstock events, bareback riding was led by NFR veteran R.C. Landingham, who scored 87.5 points on Four Star Rodeo’s Sapphire to take home $1,963. Close behind was Cooper Filipek with an 86-point ride, while Cole Franks and Ty Hawkes tied for third with 84.5 points.
Kaden Horrocks topped the saddle bronc riding leaderboard with 86.5 points on Big Stone Rodeo Inc’s Cinch Jeans Fire. Jasper Frost and Joe Harper followed closely with 85.5 and 85-point rides, respectively.
While there were only three qualified rides in bull riding, each cowboy made their ride count. Ultimately, Jax Mills delivered the top ride of 86 points aboard Four Star Rodeo’s Stranger Danger, earning $3,196. T Parker and Kyle Eaton rounded out the leaderboard, each taking home over $2,000.
On the timed event side of the arena, Levi Rudd claimed the steer wrestling title in 4.0 seconds, just ahead of Jace Melvin at 4.1 seconds. Team roping was especially competitive, with Jr. Dees and Landen Glenn laying down a 5.0-second run. Jack Fischer and Scott Lauaki, along with Clint Summers and Jade Corkill tied for second with 5.2-second runs. Tie-down roping was won by Kater Tate in 8.9 seconds, followed by Pecos Tatum’s 9.0-second run. Veteran barrel racer Jana Bean took the top spot with 16.39 seconds, narrowly beating Whitley Sharp’s 16.42-second run.
As the summer run continues to intensify, the Fallon Rodeo served as another reminder that nothing comes easy in the heat of the rodeo season. Every run, every ride, and every dollar matters a little more this time of year, and the push toward the 2026 NFR only gets more competitive from here.
