The “Superman of Rodeo” once again proved why he’s one of the toughest competitors going down the road.
The 2026 Sisters Rodeo has come to a close, and with it came another memorable chapter in one of rodeo’s most compelling stories: Stetson Wright’s pursuit of PRCA history.
Wright once again proved why he remains one of the sport’s most dominant competitors, taking home the all-around and bull riding titles thanks to an 86.5-point ride aboard Corey & Lange Rodeo’s Oops. The win earned him $10,655 and further strengthened his world standings positions going into the heart of the summer run – first in the all-around and saddle bronc riding, and second in bull riding.
Not only is Wright chasing gold buckle glory once again, but he’s also firmly on the hunt for one of rodeo’s rarest accomplishments: the Triple Crown of Rodeo. The feat is achieved when a PRCA cowboy wins world championships in three separate events during the same season. With his momentum only continuing to build, this win in Sisters further reinforces the belief that another historic season could definitely be within reach.
In bareback riding, Roedy Farrell topped the leaderboard with an 87.5-point ride on Korkow Rodeos’ Dixie’s Gravy, followed by a pair of 85-point rides from Tilden Hooper and Luke Thrash. No. 3-ranked Chase Brooks scored an impressive 89 points on Corey & Lange Rodeo's Monster in saddle bronc riding. As he looks to close the gap between himself and the Wright brothers atop the world standings, this $10,180 payday is just the boost he needs.
The timed events were equally competitive. Dalton Massey claimed the steer wrestling title with a 4.3-second run, while Brodey Clemons was the fastest man in tie-down roping after stopping the clock in 7.4 seconds. Team roping continued its trend as one of rodeo’s most competitive events, with a mere eight-tenths separating the first-place team from the final team to earn a paycheck. Ultimately, Tyler Tryan and Nicky Northcott emerged victorious with a 5.0-second run.
On the women’s side, 2025 NFR qualifier Tayla Moeykens delivered the winning barrel racing run of 17.18 seconds, followed by Carlee Otero, Steely Steiner, and Abby Phillips rounding out the Top 4. In breakaway roping, Kadin Jodie set a new Sisters Rodeo arena record with a lightning-fast 2.2-second run. Top WPRA cowgirls Rylee George, Madison Outhier, Taylor Munsell, and Beau Peterson rounded out the Top 5 as they each look to secure their spot at the 2026 NFBR.
The Sisters Rodeo provided another opportunity for competitors to gain momentum heading into the thick of the summer run, and several champions capitalized when it mattered most.
