After another night of rigid competition, fans are left shocked by the lack of rides from their favorite teams, while others are left in awe of the continued success of the Texas Rattlers.
Wildcatter Days continues to be an exciting event with night 2 presenting countless shocks and major moments. With one night left of the event, endless possibilities remain for which team will finish on top.
Game 1: Missouri Thunder vs. Arizona Ridge Riders
In stark contrast to their game on night 1, the Arizona Ridge Riders were unable to secure any qualified rides, meaning Missouri Thunder claimed the game win with two qualified rides of an aggregate total of 179.95 points. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto opened up the night with a qualified ride for the second day in a row. This ride was scored at 89.95 points on Hard Candy. Macaulie Leather came out swinging his first out of the event, riding Running Red for 90 points. Overall, the Arizona Ridge Riders had a surprisingly slow game, giving Missouri Thunder an easy win on night 2.
Game 2: Kansas City Outlaws vs. New York City Mavericks
This game was tied in terms of qualified rides per team, but the Kansas City Outlaws proved the theory of quality over quantity. Starting off the game strong, the Outlaws secured two back-to-back qualified rides scoring 88.70 and 87.05 points, giving them a game total of 175.75 points. Subsequently, the New York City Mavericks were unable to spur a bull until the third out when Leandro Zampollo rode Stinger for 83.20 points.
The game ended in a round of rerides, where the Mavericks secured their second qualified ride worth 87.60 points. Most notable, however, were the rerides for the Kansas City Outlaws. Natanael Serra Aires entered the game as a reride rider but ended the night having gotten on three bulls. His first two reride bulls were also issued a reride, his final out of the night being on Big Mac, who had him wrecked at 3.92 seconds. Game two was arguably one of the most exciting games of the night, and full of surprises.
Game 3: Florida Freedom vs. Nashville Stampede
Something must have been in the Oklahoma air because, similar to the Arizona Ridge Riders, Florida Freedom also had their first game with no qualifying rides. As a team averaging 2-3 rides per game, a shutout round was not an expected result. However, Nashville Stampede was able to secure a comfortable win against Florida Freedom with two high-scoring rides.
Alan de Souza opened the game for the Nashville Stampede, riding Spade for 89.95 points. Gustavo Luiz da Silva quickly followed suit with an 89.65-point ride on Wicked Solo. With no qualified rides from Florida Freedom, Nashville Stampede’s aggregate score of 179.60 secured them their third straight game win, putting them in a great position moving into the final night of the Wildcatter Days.
Game 4: Carolina Cowboys vs. Austin Gamblers
Game 4 was a truly exciting matchup, opening with a huge 89-point ride from Thiago Salgado, which was soon answered by Jose Vitor Leme, who rode Oyster Creek Brawler for 91.15 points. The rest of the game was near-chaos with four rerides allotted. Dalton Kessel’s first attempt at an out was unable to be completed as the bull refused to settle into the chute. However, his reride served him well as he was able to score the second ride for the Austin Gamblers, earning an additional 87.60 points. Because the Carolina Cowboys were only able to secure one qualified ride, the Austin Gamblers had a decisive victory in game 4.
Game 5: Texas Rattlers vs. Oklahoma Wildcatters
After their first loss of the season on night 1 of the Wildcatter Days, the Texas Rattlers came into the arena tonight ready to fight. The Rattlers decisively took back their spot at the top with a massive sweep of game 5, becoming the second team of the 2026 season to be able to secure four qualified rides in a single game. This accomplishment was one previously held exclusively by the Arizona Ridge Riders, who now share that title with the Rattlers. In another shock, the Oklahoma Wildcatters were unable to score a single qualified ride in game 5; a first for their 2026 season.
In all, Wildcatter Days has truly been a wild ride. With three teams unable to secure a qualified ride in night 2, some fans were shocked by the amount of bull power in the area. As the event will be concluding tomorrow night, fans are sure to be sitting on the edge of their seats as the 2026 PBR Teams season continues to unfold.
