Tough Draw Sports is adding one of the top saddle bronc riders in the world to its roster.

Damian Brennan has officially joined Tough Draw Sports, marking a major addition to the athlete representation division of Tough Draw and becoming the first dedicated saddle bronc rider on the roster.

As one of the sport’s most recognizable rising stars, Brennan’s signing marks another major step in the continued evolution of Tough Draw Sports as the roster expands across multiple disciplines and the highest levels of rodeo.

Expanding the Roster

Originally from Queensland, Australia, Brennan established himself early as one of the top competitors in saddle bronc riding.

After making the move to the United States to attend Western Texas College, where he balanced rodeo with studies in welding and agricultural business, Brennan quickly made his mark on the pro rodeo circuit.

In 2022, he earned PRCA Saddle Bronc Riding Rookie of the Year honors, signaling his arrival among the sport’s elite competitors.

Since then, his rise has continued at a high level.

A three-time National Finals Rodeo (NFR) qualifier, Brennan won the 2023 College National Championship before finishing as the 2024 PRCA Reserve World Champion saddle bronc rider. Along the way, he’s captured titles at some of rodeo’s biggest events, including RodeoHouston, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and The American.

He also set a new PRCA saddle bronc riding regular season earnings record in 2024 with more than $280,000 earned before the NFR and has now surpassed $1.1 million in career earnings before the age of 30.

His trajectory has been defined by consistency, confidence, and the ability to compete against the best riders in the world week after week.

A Natural Fit

For Tough Draw Sports, the decision to bring Brennan onto the roster came down to alignment.

The first introduction happened during Brennan’s rookie season at the Resistol Rookie Roundup, where his professionalism and presence immediately stood out to Tough Draw Sports founder Brad Hughes.

Since then, that first impression has developed into a partnership.

“Damian is someone we’ve had our eye on for a while,” Hughes shared. “The first time I met him, what stood out was how he carried himself. He’s extremely professional, he understands the business side of the sport, and he brings a level of awareness that’s rare. When you combine that with his talent, it makes the fit feel natural for what we’re building.”

As the first saddle bronc rider on the roster, Brennan’s signing also represents an important step in the continued evolution of Tough Draw Sports.

The addition reflects a commitment to supporting athletes across multiple disciplines while maintaining the same focus on relationships, storytelling, and long-term opportunity.

Built Through Work

Every event in rodeo comes with its own challenges, but the foundation behind success tends to look the same.

Discipline. Consistency. Work ethic.

For Brennan, that mindset has been shaped through his background in ranch work and the approach he brings to both his career and his life outside the arena. Whether he’s competing at the highest level of professional rodeo or back home working cattle and starting horses, the mentality stays consistent.

One phrase Brennan comes back to often is simple: hard work beats talent every day.

That mindset shows up in how he prepares, how he competes, and how he’s continued to establish himself as one of the most dependable riders in the sport.

It’s that combination of ability, professionalism, and consistency that made Brennan a natural fit for Tough Draw Sports.

Brennan is also quick to acknowledge the sponsors who have supported him throughout his career, including CINCH, Resistol, Ranchbot, Justin Boots, Country Trucker Caps, Stiffel Wealth Management, and By Sisterly. As his career has continued to grow, those partnerships have played an important role in helping him compete at the highest level while staying connected to the people and brands that support the sport.

Looking Ahead

As the 2026 season continues, Brennan remains focused on competing at the highest level and continuing to build on the momentum he has established early in his career.

Now, as part of Tough Draw Sports, that opportunity expands beyond the arena.

With opportunities across storytelling, partnerships, and the broader Tough Draw platform—including the continued growth of the Tough Draw Tour—Brennan’s addition brings both immediate impact and long-term potential.

“As I got to know Brad and what they’re building with Tough Draw, it just made sense,” Brennan said of his decision to sign with Tough Draw Sports. “They care about the athletes and doing things the right way. With everything going on in life and starting a family, it’s good to have people in your corner so you can stay focused on riding and doing your job.”

For Tough Draw, Brennan’s commitment to Tough Draw Sports reflects the mindset of growth with intention. Not just adding athletes, but building a roster with people who represent the direction of the brand and the future of the sport.

And as the roster continues to evolve, it becomes increasingly clear that Tough Draw Sports is defined by the caliber of people who represent it.
