Over the past several weeks, Tough Draw Tuesday has highlighted the evolution of the Tough Draw platform, from its storytelling roots to athlete representation to the vision behind the Tough Draw Tour.

Now, the vision of the Tough Draw Tour has become a reality.

The first stop of the Tough Draw Tour is officially set for Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the historic Norris Penrose Event Center. Tickets are on sale now as the Tour prepares to open its inaugural season.

For the Tough Draw Tour team, this moment represents the beginning of something that has been built through years of relationships, conversations, and a shared belief in what Western sports can continue to become.

Colorado Springs was not chosen by accident.

The Norris Penrose Event Center (NPEC) has long been a staple within the rodeo community, known for hosting events that reflect the tradition and authenticity of the Western way of life. That alignment made it a natural fit for the first stop of the Tour.

The support and collaboration from partners on the ground have played a key role in bringing the vision to life, including the efforts of Jessi Goodwin and the team at NPEC, whose belief in the event and commitment to the process helped make this first stop possible.

At its core, the Tough Draw Tour is built around the relationships that drive the sport forward, between riders, fans, and partners.

That same approach is reflected in how each event is being developed.

The goal is to create an experience that feels intentional at every level, by respecting the athletes, engaging the fans, and connecting partners to the culture in a meaningful way.

Through Tough Draw Sports, the Tour is shaped by direct input from the riders themselves.  Competitors who understand what it takes to perform at the highest level have helped inform what these events can become.

At the same time, Tough Draw’s background in storytelling and production continues to influence how those moments are captured and shared, bringing fans closer to the personalities and journeys that define the sport of bull riding.

This integration of relationships, storytelling, and live competition is what sets the foundation for the Tour’s future.

Organizations such as Lane Frost Brand, CINCH, American Hat, and Montana Silversmiths, among others, represent the type of partners that continue to support that vision by coming alongside the Tough Draw Tour.

Together, those relationships help create opportunities not just for events, but for the long-term growth of the sport.

With Colorado Springs set as the first stop and tickets on sale, the Tough Draw Tour has officially opened the door for fans to be part of its inaugural season. Event details and ticket availability can now be found on the official Tough Draw Tour website.

For the Tough Draw Tour team, it is the beginning of a new chapter—one built on the same foundation that has guided everything along the way.

As the first event approaches, one thing remains clear: This is just the start.

Tell the stories. Honor the culture. Build something that lasts.
