Bronc riding was dominated by Stetson Superman Wright. Meanwhile, T Hutch owned the bull riding in bracket 6 of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Two clean sweeps stole the spotlight in Bracket 6 at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, as two of the sport’s most recognizable talents came out on top in Dickies Arena.

Saddle bronc riding belonged to the one and only Stetson Wright, who across two rounds couldn't be beat. He started with an 88 point ride in round 1 and matched that with 90 points in round 2 to lead the bracket and advance.

At just 26 years old, Wright has nothing left to prove, yet plenty of huge goals he plans to chase. Although a 10 time world champion, Wright has some unfinished business, including the triple crown of winning saddle bronc, bull riding and the all-around in the same season.

2025 became a redemption year when Wright returned after injury to win the bull riding and all-around world titles, falling just short in saddle bronc riding behind his brothers. Early performances like Fort Worth suggest that pursuit in 2026 is very much alive.

Ryder Sanford also advances to the semi finals while Reed Neely will head to the wild card round.

Bull riding was just as exciting as Tristen Hutchings delivered a clean sweep of his own. Hutchings covered both of his bulls, separating himself in an event where qualified rides have been hard to come by so far.

The 25 year old Idaho native is a four-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier and one of the most consistently high-marked riders in the sport. While a gold buckle has remained just out of reach, Hutchings has spent several seasons near the top of the standings, often posting some of the biggest scores of the year when everything goes his way.

T Hutch was 88.5 points followed by 88 points in round 2. Qynn Anderson is the only other guy to cover a bull in bracket 5 and also advances to the semi finals.

Bareback riding saw the reigning world champion back on top. Rocker Steiner led the bracket. Cole Reiner followed in second while Kashton Ford placed third.

Steer wrestling opened fast. Robb’s 3.5 second run early in the bracket set the tone and carried him to a first place finish with $4,200 won already. Trisyn Kalawaia followed in second while Stetson Jorgensen placed third and moves on to the Wild Card.

Team roping featured a bounce back from Riley Minor and Brady Minor. After opening Fort Worth with a no-time, the Minor brothers came back strong in Round 2, winning the day with a 4.2-second run. They split the all of the money in that second round with Corben Culley and Trent Vaught because no other teams had a qulaified time. This money sent both teams to the semifinals. Tanner Tomlinson and Coleby Payne finished third and advance to the Wild Card.

We saw the fastest time of the 2026 FWSSR in Bracket 6. Tanner Green led the bracket after opening with a very impressive 7.6 in Round 1, just four-tenths off the arena record. Joel Harris won Round 2 with an 8.1 to finish second overall, while Blane Cox placed third and moves on to the Wild Card.

Barrel racing came down to Round 2, where Paige Jones won the round, and also the bracket. Julie Plourde finished second while Michelle Alley will advance to the wildcard.
