Whitney DeSalvo and Kayelen Helton captured the All-Girl Open title, while Kaitlyn Torres and Cainlee Dale earned the 9.5 Incentive championship at the Cody Johnson Championship Event in Belton, Texas.

Female team ropers took center stage at the Cody Johnson Championship Event, where talented cowgirls competed for championship honors and impressive payouts in Belton, Texas.

Whitney DeSalvo and Kayelen Helton captured the All-Girl Open title, while Kaitlyn Torres and Cainlee Dale earned the 9.5 Incentive championship at the Cody Johnson Championship Event in Belton, Texas.

The event showcased the growing presence of women in competitive team roping, with Whitney DeSalvo and Kayelen Helton emerging as the All-Girl Open champions. The duo finished with an aggregate time of 31.34 seconds, securing the top position and a $12,000 payout.

Their championship performance placed them ahead of a competitive field of teams pursuing their own share of the prize money.

Kenna Francis and Emilee Moyer claimed second place with an aggregate time of 33.80 seconds, earning $8,000. Taylor Howell and Lorraine Moreno followed in third with 35.55 seconds, collecting $6,000.

Fourth place went to Hardi Herring and Emilee Moyer, who finished with 39.05 seconds and earned $4,000. Bella Star Morrison and Dally Peterson rounded out the top five with a time of 40.23 seconds, taking home $3,000.

Moyer's appearance among two of the top five teams was another notable result, demonstrating her ability to compete successfully with different partners.

The competition also featured the All-Girl 9.5 Incentive, where Cainlee Dale and Kaitlyn Torres secured the championship with an aggregate time of 27.84 seconds, earning $4,500.

Kylee Fenn and Samantha Andrews finished second with 31.65 seconds, collecting $3,500. Hadley Thompson and Audrey Snyder placed third with 31.72 seconds for $2,500, while Lari Dee Guy and Jacque South completed the top four with 32.72 seconds and another $2,500 payout.

Presented by Tractor Supply Company, the COJO Championship Event continues to bring together accomplished ropers and emerging competitors for several days of competition. This year's event runs October 6th through the 11h at the Huntington Bank Expo in Belton, featuring team roping, breakaway roping, youth competitions, and charitable activities.

The All-Girl competition offered an opportunity for female ropers to compete for substantial prize money while demonstrating their abilities in both heading and heeling.

With multiple teams earning payouts, the event highlighted the depth of talent competing in women's team roping and the opportunities available to cowgirls throughout the western sports industry.

For DeSalvo, Helton, Torres, and Dale, their championship performances added another accomplishment to their competitive records while helping open an exciting week of roping action in Belton.
