Reports from Germany and England previously claimed Bayern had already opened talks regarding personal terms and viewed Gordon as an ideal fit for Vincent Kompany’s tactical system.
The Newcastle winger’s pace, pressing intensity, and versatility across the frontline made him highly attractive to Bayern’s recruitment team. The club reportedly saw Gordon as a player capable of adding directness and energy to an already dangerous attack featuring Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise, and Luis Diaz.
