29-year-old Alexander Nübel has reportedly been told he will not be part of the first-team plans by director of sport Max Eberl, despite being under contract with the German champions until 2030.

This decision is a result of the goalkeeping situation at the Allianz Arena, where Manuel Neuer remains the undisputed number one and Jonas Urbig has been identified as his long-term successor.

After successful loan spells with AS Monaco and three years with VfB Stuttgart, Nübel is facing the reality that he must find a new permanent home this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg.

At the center of the pursuit is Turkish giants Beşiktaş, who have made Nübel their primary transfer target as they search for a new number one. Talks have been ongoing between the Istanbul club, the player's representatives, and Bayern Munich.

The situation, however, is at an impasse primarily due to the financial demands from all sides. Bayern Munich are holding out for a significant transfer fee, with reports suggesting their valuation is as high as €20 million.

This stance has already led to the rejection of an opening offer from Beşiktaş, which was believed to be worth a total of €10 million, structured as €5 million fixed and €5 million in add-ons.

Beyond the transfer fee, the personal terms for the player present another hurdle. Beşiktaş is reportedly ready to offer Nübel a contract worth around €5 million net per season, along with the promise of being an undisputed starter.

Despite this, it has been reported that Nübel does not currently prioritize a move to Turkey and is hesitant to accept a significant pay cut from his reported €12 million salary.

Bayern's Eberl has informed Nübel's camp that he should not report for the start of pre-season training, accelerating the need for a resolution before the goalkeeper returns from the World Cup.
