Bellingham arrived as one of Europe’s brightest young talents before being ranked as one of the world’s best midfielders, eventually earning Borussia Dortmund a record-breaking transfer fee when he joined Real Madrid.
The German club now believes Nmecha has the potential to reach a comparable level if his development continues.
Rather than accepting a straightforward transfer fee, Dortmund would reportedly prefer a deal that combines a substantial guaranteed payment with realistic performance-based bonuses.
Dortmund will want to maximise the overall value of a deal while ensuring additional payments are linked to measurable achievements.
Reports indicate that Dortmund could value Nmecha at just over €100 million should he continue progressing at his current rate. While that figure may seem ambitious, the modern transfer market has shown that top-class midfielders entering their prime regularly command fees well into nine figures, particularly when they possess international experience and long-term potential.

Nmecha has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough on football’s biggest stage at the FIFA World Cup, after overcoming a knee injury that threatened his place in the squad. Opening with Germany’s first goal of the tournament against Curacao, Nmecha also added an assist in the win against Cote d’Ivoire.
