Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez scored goals as Chelsea posted a 2-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday, getting some help from a couple of referee's calls along the way. With the victory, the Blues now have seven points in early Premier League action.

The fact that Chelsea was able to get this victory gives it a big boost in early season action. But there may be other concerns on the horizon for the Blues as Liam Delap suffered a serious hamstring injury.

Pedro's goal came on a header during stoppage time in the first half. Fulham had scored a goal from Josh King. But a VAR review nullified the Fulham goal and the ruling sent Fulham manager Marco Silva into a furious state, according to The Associated Press.

In the second half, Fernandez's goal gave Chelsea its final 2-0 advantage. The Blues were awarded a penalty kick after Chelsea's Ryan Sessegnon, according to replays, was shown to have committed a handball penalty.

The match, which took place at Stamford Bridge, left Silva simply aghast at what happened on the pitch.

In regard to the refereeing decisions, Silva said after the match, "For someone that loves football as a manager, a former football player, as a fan sometimes when I just watch a game, I feel sad, really. Just that."

As for Delap, 22, it looked like he suffered his hamstring injury while chasing a ball from Marc Cucurella, according to The Athletic. He looked over to the Chelsea bench and immediately called for medical attention. Delap chatted briefly with Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, then went to the locker room.

Delap's situation will be worth monitoring before Chelsea's next match.
