Chelsea is reportedly adding more ammunition to its team as the Blues have reached an agreement to sign Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho. By adding Garnacho, it gives Chelsea its ninth signing during the summer. Wingers Jamie Gittens and Estevao were among those joining the Blues.

For Premier League fans, it should not come as a surprise that Garnacho left Man U. Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim wasn't a fan of the 21-year-old player. Amorim even told him, reportedly in front of his own teammates, to go find another club to play with now.

What brought on the controversy between both of them? Amorim made his comment after Manchester United lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. Garnacho entered that match as a substitute in the 71st minute.

He wanted a bigger role in the final, but that didn't happen. "Up until the final, I’ve played every round, and today to play 20 minutes… I don’t know," he said at the time, according to The Athletic.

How did Garnacho join Man U? He actually started playing for United's academy in October 2020 and came over from Atletico Madrid. He's scored 26 goals in 144 senior appearances for Man U.

This activity is taking place as the summer transfer window is closing for clubs. Many of them are looking for any player that can help them at this moment.

Don't be surprised if Chelsea tries to make an additional move before the window closes. But getting Garnacho at this time probably will be seen as a plus to Chelsea fans and, of course, by Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.
