Kendry Paez is having a tough time at Racing Strasbourg, where his own manager has exposed him on several occasions, and his lifestyle may be costing him minutes. Now, the Ecuadorian player's crisis would be amplified by the firing of Enzo Maresca, due to the ripple effect it could cause.
With the firing of Enzo Maresca, Chelsea is already considering different options for its coaching staff, with Liam Rosenior, the current manager of Racing Strasbourg, being one of the main candidates to lead the 'Blues'. This would undoubtedly directly affect Kendry Paez.
The Ecuadorian midfielder does not have the best relationship with his manager, and in case the latter arrives at Chelsea and settles in, it seems unlikely to see the Ecuadorian wearing those colors in the coming years. At the end of this season, Paez's loan expires.
Kendry arrived at Strasbourg as a stepping stone to grow and later earn a place at Chelsea. At first, everything was fine with his manager; however, due to decisions and still-unknown problems, the Ecuadorian player is far from getting minutes in France.
Currently, Kendry Paez's future is going through a delicate moment, as if Rosenior stays in Strasbourg, the Ecuadorian must change his approach to regain minutes and return to Chelsea. Or if his manager goes to the club that owns his rights, the future also looks complicated for the Ecuadorian.
In this entire season, Kendry Paez has a total of 707 minutes on the pitch. The Ecuadorian player has hardly played with the French team and has also lost his starting spot. He has just one goal in 19 matches across all competitions.
Kendry Paez has a contract with Chelsea until the end of the 2033 season. The Ecuadorian player still has many years left on his deal with the Premier League team, so if he does not improve and there is no team willing to buy him, he could be loaned out again.
