"A Point Away From Home Is Never Devalued" - Parkinson

Phil Parkinson was happy with his side’s fight after Wrexham AFC equalised late on to earn a hard-fought point away to Derby County.

“We conceded a great strike from them,” Parkinson admitted. “But we know we can always do better. We chipped away in the first half, and we had good spells; their keeper made some good saves, crosses and set pieces weren’t great.

“In the second half, Derby sat off the ball, played on the counter; we were patient, but we couldn’t quite find the killer pass with the next action. When we did, it was a brilliant cross, an outstanding striker’s header back across goal, and it’s what Ollie does for us - gets goals.”
