Wrexham AFC face a demanding run of Championship fixtures as Phil Parkinson’s side prepare to meet Sheffield United, league leaders Middlesbrough and former Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers over the next 10 days, before the next international window.

The Red Dragons start at Bramall Lane on Friday night before returning to the Racecourse for two home matches against sides aiming for the top end of the division.

After last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers, Parkinson will want his players to rediscover the form that produced a 4-1 win over Preston North End in their previous fixture.

Wrexham travel to Sheffield United on Friday, 30 October, with kick-off at 8pm UK time. Parkinson’s side can draw confidence from last season’s meetings with the Blades. Wrexham won 5-3 at the Racecourse before beating Sheffield United 2-1 at Bramall Lane. The fixture also provides Callum O’Hare with a return to his former club. The midfielder joined Wrexham from Sheffield United during the summer transfer window and says he is looking forward to seeing familiar faces while focusing on taking three points.

Middlesbrough visit Wrexham on Wednesday, 4 November, with the match scheduled to kick off at 7:45pm. The fixture brings a rematch of last season’s dramatic final day, when the teams drew 2-2 at the Racecourse. The result, combined with Hull City’s victory over Norwich, left Wrexham seventh and out of the play-offs.

The home match offers an early opportunity to measure their progress against a side that finished fifth last season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers then travel to north Wales on Saturday, 7 November, for a 12:30pm kick-off. The demanding set of fixtures completes a challenging spell before the international break and gives Wrexham another opportunity to collect points on home soil.

Phil Parkinson has faced increased pressure this season after an inconsistent start, with questions over his team's inability to build consistency in one of the world's most demanding leagues. The Wrexham head coach hopes this set of fixtures will not only bring consistency but also silence some doubters.

With Wrexham 17th after 12 league games, a positive return across the three fixtures could boost both confidence and their Championship table position.
