Luuk De Jong's Next Team?

The former PSV captain Luuk De Jong left Eindhoven in the summer of 2025, joining FC Porto on a free transfer after three seasons with the Dutch club. His first campaign in Portugal, however, was disrupted by injury before the winter break, bringing his season to an early end.

Speaking to PSV TV about his recovery, De Jong provided an encouraging update.

“I feel good and things are going well with my knee too. I’m in the final phase of my rehabilitation. Now I’m calmly waiting to see what’s still to come.”

“It has been a wonderful adventure, but because of the injury I also took the time to think things over. It’s also nice to be home with family and friends and to see what’s still to come. All options are still open.”

For now, De Jong's priority is clear: complete his recovery and see where the next chapter of his career takes him.
