A former star of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich spoke about the second-leg match, saying he sees the German team as the favorite because they are playing at home and because he feels they are currently a more complete team.

Dutch winger Arjen Robben, a former player for Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, has given an interview to the official media of the Bavarian club, in which he assessed the tie hours before the second leg at the Allianz Arena, following the German team's victory at the Bernabeu.

"For me, Bayern was the better team in the first leg. I think the result perhaps did not fully reflect their superiority, but you have to stay awake and focused for 90 minutes. Even if you think, 'We're winning 2-0, and everything is going well...' They can score a goal from nothing. In football, a match is never decided, and Madrid is the best example of that," he begins when asked about the first leg.

Asked about the white team, Robben sends a warning: "You should never count out Real Madrid. It impresses me that they always stay calm. Sometimes they feel comfortable defending very deeply, and suddenly they break out in a counterattack. Sometimes they only need one or two moments. You have to be aware of that. They have a lot of individual quality, but I think Bayern is better as a team."

The former player from Bedum, who played for the Madrid team between 2007 and 2009, spoke about the ambition of the club under Florentino Perez. "They always look to build the best team and want to sign the best players. Before, they had the Galacticos. Later, with Cristiano, Kaka, or Xabi Alonso, they also always had great players and big names," he added.

Finally, Robben stuck his neck out with his prediction and gave arguments to see Bayern as the winner. "They are a solid team and, right now, everything is going perfectly for them. They are a machine in motion, and I think they will continue like that until the end! But it's still football, a situation can always arise where there is a red card or something like that.

Of course, you have to be careful about that. You have to be concentrated for 95 minutes. If Bayern pulls it off, for me, there is only one team that can win," he concluded.
