Real Madrid's possible lineup (4-2-3-1)

GK: Thibaut Courtois - With several important saves against Sevilla, he arrives in great form to try to keep a clean sheet. Something he has not been able to achieve much of so far this season.

RB: Federico Valverde - He would repeat as a fullback after his great performance in the last league match. He has had a better performance in the defensive line than in midfield, acting as a pivot.

CB: Ibrahima Konate - The defender looked solid in the last match; he has become a reliable defender and has Mourinho's absolute trust. In addition, he wants to face his former team.

CB: Dean Huijsen - The Spaniard has formed a great duo with Konate this season. They make a quite solid duo in the defensive line. But there are still things to improve, since they usually concede a goal in practically every match.

LB: Marc Cucurella - He had an enormous performance against Sevilla. He looks more and more adapted to Real Madrid and Spanish football.

MC: Aurelien Tchouameni - What he knows best how to do is protect the defenders and steal balls in midfield; in addition, he usually dares to give passes that penetrate lines when he sees one of his teammates making the run.

MC: Arda Guler - After earning Mourinho's full trust for his performance in Rome, he has begun to start in the starting eleven. Now, he would have a slightly more withdrawn position to intervene in the plays from the start.

RW: Yan Diomande - He comes from an excellent match against Sevilla. In addition, he knows Leipzig quite well since it is his former team. His ability to play on both flanks and his commitment to defending have earned him the starting spot.

AM: Jude Bellingham - He usually understands each other quite well with Kylian Mbappe, which favors the chances of scoring. Although his most dangerous side is when he finds spaces facing the opposing area.

LW: Vinicius Jr. - The Brazilian is missing the last league match due to his suspension. He has not started the season well, and Champions League matches are his only way to show himself and try to recover his level so that he can return to being a protagonist.

ST: Kylian Mbappe - He comes from scoring two luxury goals against Sevilla, so he will want to maintain the great rhythm in that last match prior to next Sunday's Clasico.
