Reportedly, Manchester United have shown interest in the Real Madrid midfielder, and we are trying to assess the pros and cons of the probable transfer.

As it seems, Real Madrid are gearing up for a major squad overhaul during the upcoming summer transfer window, as their misery in the ongoing campaign shows no sign of stopping.

Los Blancos are now on the verge of spending two back-to-back seasons without winning any major trophy, and the fans are holding the players responsible for their poor display throughout the campaign.

As a result, the club management is already assessing a few of their players' futures at the Bernabeu, and understandably, Los Blancos would be open to considering offers for a number of their players during the summer.

Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is certainly one of those players who has failed to live up to the expectations during the ongoing season, along with his partner Eduardo Camavinga, and recent reports suggest that Madrid might be open to letting the duo leave during the upcoming transfer window if they receive a significant offer for the two midfielders.

Since the departures of Casemiro, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modric in three consecutive seasons, Los Blancos have tried to replace the trinity with talented youngsters such as Arda Guler, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Tchouameni, and Camavinga.

Evidently, the former three midfielders have been more influential during this campaign than the two French midfielders. As a result, the board's decision might be a bit more opinionated on Camavinga and Tchouameni than the others.

After recent rumors that Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in Camavinga, a report from The Telegraph suggests that United is also considering a move for Tchouameni, as Casemiro has already announced his departure from the club after this campaign, while Manuel Ugarte could also be shown the exit door during the summer.

Although Los Merengues might consider letting the 26-year-old leave after the end of this season, will the transfer fee be their only concern, or would they have second thoughts about their highly talented defensive midfielder?

Los Blancos are reportedly looking at other options like Manchester City's Rodri and Enzo Fernandez of Chelsea to bolster their midfield for the upcoming season, and with both players still under contract at their respective clubs, Los Blancos are already gearing up to splash a big transfer amount for the two Premier League stars.

As a result, the Whites could see the transfer of both Tchouameni and Camavinga as a way to balance their accounts, but letting both players during the same window might not be a great choice as it would certainly hamper the strong squad depth, which is a must for a club like Real Madrid if they are to fight for every title during the next season.
