Manchester City and Norway striker, Erling Haaland, has revealed the classy gift and gesture given to him by friend and Real Madrid superstar, Jude Bellingham.

Back in July, during the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham scored two goals to drag England kicking and screaming into just their fourth semi final appearance ever.

Norway were the team they defeated, who themselves were in their first ever quarter final of the competition, having beaten record winners Brazil in the round of 16. In that game, Erling Haaland had scored twice, though he was quieter in this game.

Nevertheless, he embraced his good friend Bellingham - whom he knows from their Borussia Dortmund days - even during the game from a set piece, but also after the game on the pitch.

It is clear that, despite not playing together for a few years now, they are very good friends. Well, that has been proven even further. Indeed so, as Haaland has shown (via MadridXtra) what Bellingham wrote on his shirt when he gave it to his Norwegian counterpart.

The 23-year old said: "You are one of a kind, I love you brother. Keep going." When showing this, Haaland himself said: "A nice little letter. What a legend."

There has always been an idea from fans that he could end up playing for Real Madrid one day. Having scored over 100 Premier League goals, and countless trophies including the treble, one wonders how much there is left for him to do at City and in England.

Not only is he an incredible player, but also an incredible person too, that is clear for everybody to see. Although there are a lot of top class players in the Los Blancos squad, but they are certainly polarising figures too. With Haaland, you have someone the whole fanbase can get behind. At least in theory anyway.

Well, you never know. No doubt everyone would love to see that sort of galactico signing. Meanwhile, the centre-forward also showed his World Cup kit collection, showing shirts of Reece James, James Trafford, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Thuram, Rayan Cherki, former Real Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez, Nico O'Reilly, Neymar and indeed Bellingham.

Not bad, not bad at all. Let's see if one day we will see the good friends Haaland and Bellingham reunite in Real Madrid colours. That is something that everyone (unless you're from a Manchester City persuasion) would like to see at some point down the line, right?
