Inter Milan has made Nico Paz its top priority. The 21-year-old has charmed Italian football with his talent, and the league wants to keep him. But Real Madrid holds all the cards.

Nico Paz is the name of the moment in Italy. All of Italian football is paying attention to what happens with the young Como player. They do not want to lose him, especially Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri have the 21-year-old Spanish-Argentine as their top market priority, although they know that signing him is almost a utopia, given that Real Madrid has priority to acquire his services and the decision at Valdebebas has been made.

As reported by Diario AS, Real Madrid has already decided to exercise the purchase option it holds on the player, whose deadline is May 30. At the Madrid club, they are clear that the youth product's future involves returning to the club, and for that reason, the Madrid executives have already moved to make all parties aware of the decision.

This Thursday, Nico Paz is the great protagonist on the cover of Corriere dello Sport. The Italian outlet says that Inter has already made its move, but that everything will depend on what Real Madrid wants.

Nico Paz's numbers have left no room for doubt under Cesc Fabregas' command. In 38 games played, he has so far achieved 13 goals and eight assists. He is proving to be a vital piece for the club in northern Italy.

"The rumors about Nico Paz and Inter are really great. He is a serious guy, he plays for the team, and he has everything. I would love for him to come to Inter; he is a champion too expensive for Italy. Ours is another league; I think right now he fits in at Real Madrid.

Given the difficulties that Italian football is going through, it is unlikely that he will stay. If our football does not change, he is destined to leave," admitted Arturo Di Napoli, a former player and Italian coach. Italy already fears the worst.

There is less and less time until the summer transfer market, and after the World Cup, there will most likely be more changes than expected in many squads around the world, not only in Italy. It will be a matter of time to see what Real Madrid's final decision is with Nico Paz.
