Journalist Manolo Lama harshly lashes out at Real Madrid president Florentino Perez after a surreal press conference he gave.

After a rather disastrous season for Real Madrid, in which its own fans were left disappointed, the club's president, Florentino Perez, decided to hold an unusual news conference.

Real Madrid went through a turbulent season, finishing second in La Liga after failing to win either the league or the Champions League.

And now, as if the club were not controversial enough at this point, its president came out to give a news conference after years of not giving one.

In a surreal act, Florentino Perez attacked Barcelona over the 'Negreira case,' unrelentingly attacked journalists, and even raised conspiracy theories about him.

Regarding his person, the 79-year-old Spaniard lashed out, saying that if there was any moment to attack him, it would be now, stating that he would be the last Real Madrid partner to leave.

He also acknowledged that, although nothing has been won this year, under his mandate, the club has won 66 titles, and just less than two years ago, Real Madrid won the league and the Champions League.

Regarding the Negreira case, Florentino Perez announced that he would submit a 500-page dossier to UEFA for investigation.

"It is incomprehensible that we are still seeing referees from that era in our league. We are putting together an important dossier that we are going to present immediately to UEFA," he emphasized.

Finally, the Spaniard also spoke about the fight between Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni, and, in his words, the leak is the worst, admitting that it worries him because it is the first time a leak like that has happened.

In response to Florentino's insults toward the press, many journalists quickly came out to issue statements on the matter, as did Manolo Lama, who did not hesitate to lash out harshly against the president.

"I have not seen in my life a press conference as pathetic as the one I saw today," he explained.

Lama also said that everything good Florentino has done, he threw to the ground, because his performance was very bad for Real Madrid.

"Now I understand why he has gone 10 years without speaking to the media," Lama expressed on his X (Twitter) account.

Without a doubt, this press conference will go down in Real Madrid's history as one of the most controversial to date.
