Kylian Mbappe has reacted to speculation about Jose Mourinho's return to Real Madrid.

Hardly spared by criticism this season, Kylian Mbappe drew attention on social media. The Real Madrid forward surprised with a like on a post in favor of the return of Jose Mourinho to the Madrid bench.

In the Spanish capital, Mbappe, 27, finds himself in a situation comparable to the one he experienced at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Real Madrid forward, regardless of the quality of his performances, cannot escape criticism. The negative comments sometimes concern his performances, while others point out his poor behavior on the pitch.

The Frenchman may fuel excellent statistics. But much like the whistles received against Deportivo Alaves (2-1) on Tuesday, a match during which he scored his 41st goal of the season in all competitions, the Merengue does not have the favor of the Santiago Bernabeu crowd.

Suffice it to say that Madrid supporters will not appreciate his social media initiative either. To everyone's surprise, Mbappe had the astonishing idea of "liking" a post in support of Mourinho's return to the bench at the Bernabeu.

The former AS Monaco player can always claim it was a mistake or that his account was hacked. In the meantime, this "like" risks not being well-received internally.

One thinks especially of current coach Alvaro Arbeloa. Even if he knows perfectly well that his time at the helm of the first team should come to an end at the end of the season, the coach can see it as a lack of respect from the forward he constantly defends during his press conferences.

It remains to be seen what the management thinks. Within the club, the track leading to Mourinho seems to be resurfacing. Especially since the Benfica coach reportedly has a release clause this summer. Good news for Mbappe.
