Kylian Mbappe's entourage makes a statement through AFP, defending the Real Madrid forward amid heavy criticism of the French striker.

The criticism for Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe remains harsh and constant.

The French forward of the white team has faced a series of criticisms and hatred on social media in recent days due to a trip he took to Italy with his partner, Ester Exposito, a couple of days ago, when he was supposed to be on leave for his recovery.

His participation against RCD Espanyol (2-0) last Sunday was questioned because it was said that the best thing would be for him to rest from his injury to go into El Clasico in form, which he did not do and unleashed a wave of hatred from the fans, many even began to defame Mbappe for lying.

This escalated to such an extent that on social media, both on Real Madrid's official account and on the player's own accounts, a campaign of contempt from the Madridistas could be seen with the image 'Mbappe out' on all posts, both with images and comments.

To calm the turbulent waters, his entourage wanted to defuse the situation with a statement to AFP, because the situation seems, at this point, unsustainable, as people have even begun collecting signatures on a platform asking Kylian Mbappe to leave the club.

"Part of the criticism is based on an overinterpretation of elements related to a recovery period strictly supervised by the club, without that corresponding to the reality of the commitment and work that Kylian does daily for the good of the team," the forward's entourage clarified.

Regarding the Frenchman's situation, Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa also spoke a few days ago. The coach assured that the supervision of footballers during recovery is the responsibility of the team's medical services, who control when they should go to Valdebebas and when not.

The Los Blancos coach pointed out that the supervision of footballers during recovery is the responsibility of Real Madrid's medical services.

"The player in his free time does what he considers appropriate, and I cannot intervene in that," he commented.

Evidently, Kylian Mbappe is going through his worst moment of the season, and although he will undergo further tests on Wednesday to assess his recovery, it is already rumored that he may not be able to fully recover for El Clasico next Sunday.

According to information from SPORT, on Monday, Mbappe went to Valdebebas, and a journalist from El Chiringuito de Jugones asked him if he would be ready to play as he was leaving, and the forward avoided answering, simply saying "I don't understand" in French.
