Premier League club Manchester United is willing to pay whatever for Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni, but the Spanish club considers him untouchable.
Real Madrid could face the departure of one of its great pillars, the versatile central midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, who apparently has received a much more attractive offer at another club.
The summer transfer market will bring changes for Real Madrid, and not all might be good. According to speculation in the media, Tchouameni, 26, has admitted he might consider a change of scenery next season.
His trajectory with the white club has not been bad at all; in fact, he himself had admitted to feeling quite comfortable with the team in past statements, but now that things got a little agitated after the incident he had with his Uruguayan teammate Federico Valverde, he takes the liberty of thinking things twice because he ended up enduring massive criticism due to this.
The new Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, however, does not consider the Frenchman's departure. Considered 'untouchable,' the white club had rejected previous offers for him, although now things may take a turn.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, as reported by Transfer News Live, Manchester United is willing to pay whatever it takes to have Tchouameni in its squad.
For days, the Premier League club has been asking about the young player, being the most interested in his services.
However, this contradicts what journalist Fabrizio Romano said about the matter a few days ago.
Apparently, the first inconvenience in this matter is the player's high salary, and, clearly, Real Madrid has not left open the possibility of signing him.
Tchouameni is indispensable for the Merengues, especially given that next season they will need his versatile skills and the tactical order he provides to the team, so his departure seems to be just another rumor among the many that will surface in this summer transfer window.
For now, the Frenchman will concentrate on his commitments with the French national team, where his participation has become indispensable under coach Didier Deschamps' command.
On Friday of this week, he managed to assist his national team teammate Ousmane Dembele for the third goal, an action that contributed to France's victory against Norway (1-4), in addition to being named second captain of France after Kylian Mbappe left the field, who handed him the captain's armband.
One day before the match, the central midfielder gave interviews but did not touch on a possible departure from the Santiago Bernabéu.
