Arbeloa addressed Real Madrid's Champions League elimination, sharing his thoughts on the match and his future at the club.

Alvaro Arbeloa, coach of Real Madrid, said Wednesday in a press conference after being eliminated by Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League that he will understand "any decision" his club may make about his presence or not on the bench next season.

Arbeloa has not been able to lead Real Madrid to a title. He lost the Copa del Rey and on Wednesday the Champions League. La Liga is far away, nine points behind Barcelona, the leader. The white coach, after lamenting the refereeing decision that led to Camavinga's ejection, spoke about his future.

"Since I have sat in this chair, it has not been to prove my level as a coach. I have not wanted to win with my decisions, but to help our players. We have faced many teams, City, Atletico, and Bayern. They have the stamp of their coaches.

I do not know what stamp this one of mine has. Those examples have more of a stamp, as Castilla had in my case. I have always helped the club in whatever way I could, and that will be the case until the last day," he said.

"It does not worry me at all, and I will understand any decision the club may make. I am a man of the house, and if I am hurt today, it is not for me; it is for Real Madrid. I am hurt for the players and not for myself. My future worries me little. It is a minimal concern. I feel that I have done everything I could to try to help my players."

Arbeloa insisted that he is not thinking about his future and repeated the message: "It is the club's decision. I am a club man, and I only want Real Madrid to win regardless of who is on the bench," he stated.

He also spoke about Camavinga's ejection: "It is an action that no one understands, ejecting a player for something like that. It is inexplicable, unfair, and we are very hurt because the tie has slipped away from us in a way we cannot control.

I am hurt for my players for their effort. I am proud of them and of the fans. And if the defeat hurts me for any reason, it is because this year we are not going to win the 16th, and above all because of the way it happened."
